Free Airbnb profit check
Drop in your Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo earnings file and see what guests paid, what the platform kept and what reached you - by listing and by month. Add your costs for an estimate of your profit. Your file is read here, in your browser, and never leaves your device.
The profit check needs JavaScript to read your file.
Where to find your file
Earnings, then Transaction history, then Completed payouts. Set the dates - a tax year runs 6 April to 5 April - and choose Export CSV.
In the Extranet: Finance, then Payouts. Choose the period and download the CSV.
In your owner dashboard, the payout summary report under financial reporting. Choose the dates and export it.
The platforms move these menus from time to time; the file is the same. Columns are read by their names, so it does not matter which ones you choose to include.
What the check can and cannot tell you
Every booking, fee, refund and payout in the file, and the nights stayed. Rent includes the cleaning you charged guests - it is part of what they paid.
Your profit, from the costs you type in: per stay, per month or per year, spread over the months your file covers. It is only as good as those figures.
It keeps nothing, matches nothing to your bank and works out no tax. That is what Stoneledger Hosts is for - from £10 for a Snapshot.
Not sure which costs count? What an Airbnb host can claim. Wondering why your bank never matches your bookings? Airbnb payouts and your bank. And whether you are in Making Tax Digital: MTD for hosts.
A Snapshot takes up to 12 months of your files, your costs and your bank statement, and shows what each property made, with every figure opening up. £10, once.
